Welcome to Crescent Respite's Therapeutic SIL Homes
At Crescent Respite, we extend our commitment to providing exceptional care through our Therapeutic Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. Our SIL homes offer a supportive and enriching environment designed to foster independence, skill development, and overall well-being for NDIS participants. Our therapeutic approach ensures that each resident receives personalized care and services tailored to their unique needs.
Our Therapeutic SIL homes utilize a transdisciplinary approach, integrating services from a team of specialists to provide comprehensive care. This approach includes:
Behavioral Therapy: Helping residents understand and manage their emotions effectively.
Occupational Therapy: Assisting in developing daily living skills to promote independence.
Speech Pathology: Enhancing communication skills for better social interactions..
Psychological Support: Providing mental health support and counseling.
Fully Accessible Rooms: Designed with accessibility in mind, featuring wheelchair ramps, hoists, and height-adjustable tables.
Modern Amenities: Including electric beds with pressure care mattresses, mobile hoists, shower chairs, and fully accessible bathrooms with ensuites.
Each resident receives a tailored support plan that includes therapeutic services, community engagement activities, and skill-building programs.
We offer a variety of lifestyle and leisure activities to ensure a fulfilling and enjoyable living experience. Activities include arts and crafts, music therapy, nature walks, cooking classes, fitness sessions, and more.
Our Therapeutic SIL homes are located in several welcoming areas in Melbourne, ensuring easy access to local amenities and community services. Current locations include:
Oak Park: Five studios and two 2-bedroom apartments.
Cranbourne East: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites.
Tarneit: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites.
Rockbank: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites; only one room available.
Melton South: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites (currently unavailable).
Geelong: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites; only one room available (currently unavailable).
Wyndham Vale: 1-bedroom apartments with private ensuites (currently unavailable).
Footscray: 2-bedroom apartments with private ensuites (currently unavailable).
