Respite care is a form of short-term care that can be used to provide relief for caregivers. It can be used for a few hours, days, or weeks, depending on the needs of the caregiver and the person receiving care.
At Crescent Respite, we offer a range of respite care services to meet the needs of caregivers and those receiving care. These services can be customised to each individual and may include personal care, home management, and emotional support.
The cost of respite care will vary depending on the services required and the length of time needed. We offer a range of affordable respite care options to suit your budget.
While we don't offer specific services for emergency respite care, we can often organise respite care on short notice. Discuss your needs with our team and we'll be able to provide you with more information and assistance.
No, we do not currently offer in-home respite care or residential respite care.
Respite care is a very general term for temporary relief care. A respite home or respite house is a specific type of respite care service where people come to stay in a house or facility for a short period of time. Crescent offers respite home services, giving our residents a place to rest and recover away from the rush and stresses of daily life.
Most of our participants are with us from a few days to a few weeks. Some simply stay overnight, and most stay longer, but anything longer than a few weeks is usually by special arrangement. Talk to our team today for more information on our overnight respite and short-term respite care services.
Our respite services are available and subsidised through the NDIS. You can also access respite care through private funding. Our team will be able to help you work out which option is right for you and explain the entire process.
